I mean you sold your home before the Real Estate crash. Actually no, Dave. They don’t correlate. I’ve seen a fair share of PR 2 sites, with 0 PR inner pages that are considered authority sites. One of the number one MMO sites, Grizzly’s blog, is a PR 2 with a lot of 0 pages and that’s only one example.

Your last paragraph is correct. Multi-author sites without moderation are going to get sacked by Google and the moderated sites will be rewarded. The Google spam team has made it clear they will give great weight to editorial links (in-post content) while pretty much nuking everthing else.
