Seems a little crazy to check your progress just a few days into the year, but isn’t it amazing how quickly we forget and neglect our New Year’s goals? Today is January 6th, which means most of us have returned to work, settled back into our normal routines….routines that aren’t likely to help us accomplish our big goals for the first year of the new decade.
I know I’m already guilty of this…which is why I’m making this post. I need to remind myself every day of the goals I have for myself, my business, and my family. If you want to get ahead you should be doing the same.

Would it be possible to get the mp3 and wmv files seperately? I can’t download 136mb files in like 5 seconds… it’ll take me all night… and for two copies of the same thing – I only need ONE of them. (South African internet sucks)
Sorry man but I disagree with the whole concept of goals in general. Goals are for people who can’t motivate themselves and need something artificial to push them. I am better than that. My goal is always the same: make as much money as possible. Am I the only one who can motivate myself without outside help? Leo wrote about goals, Lis wrote about goals and now you write about goals. This is a FLUFF post brother. Just get to work and get things done.
Quite a bit of verified research disagrees with you Jessie, but you’re entitled to your tough as nails, highly self-assured opinion.
Well, monetary goals in IM are pretty useless because so much is out of our control. You can have a goal to write an ebook or create 10 blogs or whatever you want. But you can’t realistically make a goal to make a certain amount of money. That is because you could work your butt off and do everything you need to do and then have Google de-index you or have a hacker take you down or have Google change their algorithm or any number of other things. You just can’t predict what you will make in IM. That’s my tough as nails opinion.
The point of the post was to give people the webinar Jessie.
Jessie: How’s that “make as much money as possible” goal going? From what i’ve seen, it’s possible to make $500,000+ per year with internet marketing… Are you making that much, plus? Are you even making $1,000/month? If you watched the webinar, you would have seen that the majority of the goals Court and Mark set for themselves (and encourage others to do) are work-based goals, because like you said, that’s all you can control.
Chris Remple is doing +$1.2 million in profits last time I heard from him. Now $100k per month in profits would be a worthy goal in my book

Thanks for the webinar. What is the GPS? Some sort of article community?
Yes, JR, GPS (Guest Posting System) is an article distribution system that lets our members publish original content on other people’s blogs (from a central posting dashboard in our members’ area) in exchange for attribution links. Right now there are a little more than 400 sites in the system accepting posts, and it’s working great.

I’m guilty of already starting to slack on what I wanted to get done this year. I know I can reach my goal for this year but it will take a lot of focus and hard work to do it. I need to stay motivated and productive. Thank you very much for the webinar.
