Tips on Getting the Most Out of Tonight’s Webinar

Hey Gang -

Right around 80 of you are signed up for tonight’s linkbuilding webinar, and I’m estimating we’ll have about 50 join us live (with the rest getting a download link to enjoy it later).

I just wanted to give you a couple tips for how to get as much as possible out of the session:

1. Show up about 5 minutes early and make sure your mic/speakers/headset are working properly. There’s an “Audio Settings” button that lets you do this. On past webinars we’ve had people who couldn’t get out of the “Listen Only Mode” setting on GotoWebinar for some reason, and if that’s you – not to worry.  You’ll still be able to ask questions via the live chat function. Because Court and I will both be there tonight I’ll be manning the “chatted in questions” while Court teaches most of the material.

2. Write down some questions beforehand – although I’m really afraid we’re bringing too much content for a two hour session, we’re going to leave time at the end of each lesson for some Q and A. Expect 20 to 30 minute blocks of instruction followed by 10 or 15 minutes of Q and A. We’ll go that way until we all can’t take it anymore. ;)

3. Be on the lookout for one or two key insights that will help you either a) get a lot more out of your current linkbuilding efforts, or b) put you on a different path altogether (one that will actually get you some traffic!).

Talk to you all in just about an hour and a half! It’s going to be a good one.

- Mark

And for those of you still on the fence about joining us tonight, I’d recommend taking the very small plunge. For a measly $47 bucks you’re going to get insights that can really change the direction of your site promotion efforts.

  1. Thanks for the excellent webinar!! I learned a lot!!

  2. I look forward to hearing the audio version. I signed up for the Webinar but we had severe storms tonight and I was unable to join in. Can’t wait to hear what I missed!

  3. looking forward to hearing audio also. Of all the nights to have to work!

  4. So do I. How long did the webinar go for?

  5. One question I still have:

If you use UAW, do you think you should still submit to some of the “top tier” article directories like Ezine, article dashboard, Go, etc etc. Or does UAW cover it?

    • Great question. Now I haven’t heard the call yet but I’m currently using both ways (just in case).

Thanks so much for a great presentation, Court and Mark. You guys are excellent teachers and very patient. I’ve been a teacher for 20 years and I know that students need to hear an explanation at least 5 times before the material starts to interconnect and make sense as a system. Thanks to you I’m just about there and can just work instead of checking myself all the time to make sure I’m doing it right.

  7. This was the most clear and comprehensive lesson on linkbuilding I’ve ever seen. Great job guys!

    Nomadic Matt & Mikael:

UAW submits to GoArticles and ArticleDashboard, but it doesn’t submit to EzineArticles.

However, in the FAQ area of the service it explains how to use the UAW system to generate a unique version of your UAW submission to take and manually submit to EzineArticles.

Anyone reading this and not yet committed to investing in the video for this webinar: you really should. This is worth way more than what they’re charging for it.

  8. Great job…

One question that I forgot to ask, do you have any experience with SENuke? I was wondering how that compared to UAW in generating backlinks.

    Thanks again,

    Phil
